The new high precision SO2-NG TCXO replacement for the Kenwood TS50, TS60, TS850, TS870, TS690, TS570D, TS950S and TS450 transceivers

This board is a aftermarked replacement for the Kenwood SO-2 TCXO UNIT, which is no longer available as original spare part.


The SO2-NG is 100% compatible with the original Kenwood SO-2, with the same dimensions and all soldering pads are in the same location as on the original unit, which permit a easy replacement of original Kenwood SO-2 unit. Furthermore there are a trimmer for the fine frequency adjustment to calibrate the unit.
The high quality TCXO from MURATA providing a high degree of frequency stability over a wide temperature range, and a low noise voltage regulator a very clean supply.
The board is delivered as full assembled, so is it quite easy for most people with soldering skills to install the unit in the transceiver.
