This Encoder unit is a aftermarked replacement for the Kenwood P/N W02-1660-05 and P/N W02-1687-05 (mounted on the SWITCH UNIT A P/N X41-3130-00 and P/N X41-3170-00), which is no longer available as original spare part.


This Channel Encoder unit is 100% compatible with the original Kenwood p/n W02-1660-05 and P/N W02-1687-05(mounted on the SWITCH UNIT A P/N X41-3130-00 and P/N X41-3170-00), with 24 steps per rotation, the same shaft size (len.=25mm, diam.=6mm) and all soldering pads are in the same location as on the original unit, which permit a easy replacement of the original Kenwood M.CH/VFO.CH Encoder.

The board is delivered as full assembled with the incremental encoder and the 6 pin header, ready for soldering on the SWITCH UNIT A P/N X41-3130-00 and P/N X41-3170-00.
